School Vision & Values

St Martin’s Vision

St Martin’s Primary School is a Church of England School and part of the LDBS Frays Academy Trust. St Martin’s Primary School is committed to delivering excellent primary education for children in West Drayton and to enable our children, their families and our staff to flourish and realise their God-given potential. Our founding principles are Christian, based on the teachings of Jesus and the core belief that every person is loved and accepted by God. We realise these principles in an inclusive and open way.

Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Inspired by Martin of Tours, our Christian school warmly embraces all. We see our children as courageous advocates, shaping communities now and for the future. Guided by compassion, trust, prayer and a spirit of generosity, our children flourish and shine as beacons of light, making a positive impact on society.

Recently, we reviewed our school vision. We would like to share some of the feedback we received:

The vision for St Martins is inspiring and reflects a commitment to nurturing compassionate and community-minded students. The emphasis on compassion, advocacy, and the Christian values of love and generosity is appropriate and fosters an inclusive environment and prepares students to be empathetic and caring individuals in society.

I think its great. Children will always hold the keys to our future, and we must give them the tools, experience and courage to strive for an ever better future.

Light relates to Christianity because Jesus is the light of the world and, in the Bible it states, lightness defeats darkness.
